Deffently NOT a KABAR

So i bought this knife a couple years ago from a surplus shop in toronto. I was looking for a small kabar one size smaller then the one i used to have. I was in the market for a knife that would last for years and take a beating. The man behind the counter said no kabars but cold steel…..they make very strong knifes and thats why they carry them. They didn’t have much to choose from. So for 30 bucks (i think thats what i paid for it) cnd this is what i got.

cold steel knives

The only thing that really pissed me off was the plastic sheef. I don’t know one decent knife maker that sells knifes with plastic sheefs. Although the 2nd LT that runs the surplus shop keept telling me, its a good knife so i took his word for it. I’m trying something new. Up untill now this knife stayed in my backpack, I never really used it for much. Today i decided I’m going to beat the living piss out of this knife and see what “cold steel” knives are really made of. And i hope i don’t regret not going to canadian tire and buying the ol trustworthy “Buck Knife” or “karbar”
cheers
